Clear Ledger is currently focused on a small number of straightforward remote bookkeeping relationships where thoughtful, consistent support can make a meaningful difference.

I’m Heather Green, founder of Clear Ledger, a remote bookkeeping practice for small businesses. My background spans payroll and benefits administration, billing and accounts receivable, financial-record management, small-business operations, and hands-on bookkeeping.
I’ve spent much of my career working with the details behind the numbers, including processing payroll information, researching billing discrepancies, posting payments, organizing financial records, managing the finances of my own business, and completing QuickBooks catch-up bookkeeping for a small construction business.
Clear Ledger grew from something I’ve always enjoyed: taking financial information that feels scattered or overwhelming and bringing it back into order. My approach is built around accuracy before speed, research before guessing, clear communication, and books that are genuinely useful.
The goal is to understand what you need before promising a scope that doesn’t fit.
